What began years ago as a gathering of songwriters\, activists\, and local supporters has evolved into a cornerstone event for the Steel Bridge Creative Foundation. The event honors the bridge’s cultural legacy while continuing to champion artistic collaboration in Door County. \n\nThroughout the day\, audiences can experience live performances from past and present Steel Bridge songwriters. We feature original music written during the legendary Construction Zone Songwriting Workshop\, a yearly creative marathon where artists from around the world come to Sturgeon Bay to write\, record\, and collaborate.
