Stitch A Scarf: A Visual Poem Workshop with Erika Mock

Just in time for a change of season, come play with color and cotton to hand stitch a simple scarf…a boa or a short flat scarf… with guest textile artist – eco queen, Erika Mock as your guide! You will learn to cut gently used old T-shirts to compose (yes, like music or a visual poem!) layers of your new scarf, then sew it all together easily with the very simple meditative and versatile running stitch. If you don’t know how, you will learn to hand stitch a process to make it flow called ‘loving your thread’.
