The Three Golden Hairs
July 10 @ 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
A son is born to a poor couple with a birthmark the shape of a crown. It is interpreted to mean that he will marry a princess when he becomes 19. The wicked king, hearing of it, visits the family and persuades them to allow him to bring the boy back and raise him in the castle. Instead, he puts the boy in a box and throws the box into the water, so that he will drown. But rather than sink, it drifts down to a mill, where it is found by the miller and his wife. The two decide to raise the boy on their own, but 19 years later the king sees the boy and seeks to have him killed. The young man embarks on a journey through the Black Forest, facing thieves and a demon to marry the princess.
