Barefoot in the Park: Peninsula Players Theatre
June 20 @ 8:00 pm

A classic comedy brimming with love and laughter.
Carefree Corie and pragmatic Paul are newlyweds who are hilariously navigating life in their first quirky apartment. While Paul worries over the lack of heat and a hole in the skylight, Corie longs to run barefoot in the park. Toss in an anxious mother-in-law and an eccentric neighbor, and laughs abound! Simon’s trademark wit and humor shine in this warm-hearted comedy where we see what people will do when taken out of their comfort zones.
“A bubbling, rib-tickling comedy.” — The New York Times
“ I don’t think anybody stopped laughing while the curtain was up last evening.” – New York Daily News
Neil Simon received a Pulitzer Prize, four Tony Awards and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. His catalog of 30-plus plays includes “The Odd Couple,” “Sweet Charity,” “Plaza Suite,” “Rumors,” “Brighton Beach Memoirs” and “Broadway Bound.”
