“Hate Mail” as a parody of “Love Letters” ensues correspondence between its two characters that is nothing less than brilliantly hilarious. The couple spars back and forth, creating a deep and rich hatred for each other that blooms into a wonder filled love affair and then unfortunately back to hate. The play is written for mature audiences and may not be appropriate for children. Six performances July 11-13 and July 18-20. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 pm while Sunday matinees are at 2 pm. Tickets are $20 online and $22 at the door. Students $15. Tickets can be purchased at roguetheater.org.
