Photo 201 is designed for photographers who are comfortable operating their camera and are
ready to move beyond simply using it. The focus of this course is learning to think like a
photographer: evaluating a scene before opening your camera bag, selecting the right gear,
anticipating the lighting, and making confident creative and technical decisions. Through classroom
discussion, hands-on field exercises, and weekly assignments, students will develop the ability to
approach almost any photographic situation with confidence.
