Ready to take the next step in your photography journey? Photo 201 is an intermediate class for those comfortable with manual mode who want to refine their skills and expand creative possibilities.
What You’ll Learn:
Advanced use of the exposure triangle and histogram for consistent results
Tripod techniques for sharp landscapes and long exposures
Using neutral density and polarizing filters for creative effects
Metering modes, autofocus types, and back-button focusing
Wildlife photography techniques and best practices
Lighting skills: golden hour, blue hour, reflectors, and off-camera flash basics
Lightroom Classic workflow, color correction, and local adjustments
Techniques for photo stitching, focus stacking, and HDR bracketing








Each week includes a mix of in-gallery instruction and hands-on practice in downtown Sturgeon Bay, with opportunities to receive feedback and refine your technical and artistic approach.
Requirements: A DSLR or mirrorless camera and tripod are required. Basic comfort with manual mode is recommended. Some features covered may not be available on all entry-level cameras, but all DSLR and mirrorless models are welcome.
