Fire & Ice Festival

FEBRUARY 14-15, 2025
THROUGHOUT STURGEON BAY

Mark your calendars for Destination Sturgeon Bay’s annual Fire & Ice Festival on Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15, 2025!

Help kick-off Fire & Ice festival weekend with a candle-lit hike at Crossroads at Big Creek on one of their trails in the enchanting glow of luminaries from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, February 14. Warm up around a toasty campfire with hot chocolate, heart-shaped cookies, and the good company of people after the hike. The Yoga Womb will also be hosting Partner Yoga at their studio from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm.

Stroll through downtown Sturgeon Bay Saturday, February 15 as talented ice carvers transform blocks of ice into stunning works of art from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. If you miss those ice carvers throughout Sturgeon Bay, be sure to visit Crossroads at Big Creek for an ice harvesting demonstration with volunteers from the Madden Tool Museum from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, demonstrating how ice was gathered in Sturgeon Bay in the 1800s. 🧊✨

Hike, snowshoe, cross-country ski, or simply explore on Saturday at Potawatomi State Park during Winter Trails Day presented by The Friends of Potawatomi State Park. Join the Friends in the warming shelter at  the picnic area on the park’s south shoreline for refreshments and to warm up by the fire, 11 am to 1 pm.

Enjoy hassle-free transportation with trolley loops running from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Trolley stops include T. Simon Jewelers, Bay Shore Outfitters, Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar, Third Avenue PlayWorks, and Door County Fire Company.
