Thrills and Chills presented with Quantum Technologies — A day of festive Halloween fun for the entire family!

The Annual Kids Costume Parade route for this year’s Thrills & Chills event has been updated to ensure the safety of all participants. The parade will now officially begin at Martin Park at 10 AM and end at the Clock Tower.

The new route will start at Martin Park, cross the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Oregon Street, continue down 3rd Avenue, and conclude at the Community Foundation Square Clock Tower. This change was made in coordination with the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department and Police Department, who identified this route as the safest option for pedestrians.3rd Avenue will remain closed between Michigan Street and Jefferson Street from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Children’s activities will still take place as planned in Community Foundation Square with inflatable kids’ activities, music, a selfie station, Steel Bridge Gelato serving tasty gelato, and the mobile bar serving hot chocolate, cider and coffee until 12 pm.

Trick-or-treating along east and west waterfront businesses will start after the parade ends and will go until 12:00 pm. Find participating businesses with the “Thrills & Chills” Window Decal.

The Spook-tacular Sturgeon Bay Scavenger Hunt is back again this year! Stop into the Destination Sturgeon Bay Welcome Center to pick up your scavenger hunt map throughout the month of October (ending October 31st). Once you’ve visited all the stops, drop off your map for a chance to win a special Sturgeon Bay prize.

Thrills & Chills Weekend Happenings:

Friday, October 24 - 
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm | Door County YMCA (1900 Michigan St) - Bring the whole family to the Sturgeon Bay Program for a spook-tacular Trunk or Treat! Decorated trunks, candy, and fun activities for everyone! Come in costume and get ready for a frightfully good time. 

4:30 pm - 8:00 pm | Bay Shore Outfitters (59 N Madison Ave) - Pumpkin Carving on the patio with special drink specials for the adults and drinks for the littles.

Saturday, October 25 - 
9:45 am | HYPE Dancers at the Martin Park stage performing the traditional Witches Dance
10 am | Kids Costume Parade along Third Avenue
10 am - 12 pm | Inflatable kids activities, music, a selfie station, Steel Bridge Gelato serving tasty gelato, and the mobile bar serving hot chocolate, cider and coffee!
10 am - 12 pm | Trick or Treating along East & West Waterfront

9 am - 3 pm | LoLo's Sturgeon Bay (231 Michigan St) Pumpkin Pie in a Cup, Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls & Apple Turnovers, Hot Soup, Trick-or-Treating, and 40% off all Halloween & Fall gifts!

10 am - 3 pm | Door County Granary (72 E Locust) Free admission to the Door County Granary's living museum 10 AM - 3 PM on Saturday, Oct. 25. 

10 am - 3 pm | Door County Library (107 S 4th Ave) The Library is celebrating with the City of Sturgeon Bay! Join the Library for Thrills and Chills; right after the parade, we will have trick-or-treats, photo backdrops, crafts, and warm drinks. FREE to the public!

10:30 am - 1:00 pm | Boys & Girls Club of Door County (55 S 3rd Ave) will once again have a Haunted House created by kids, for kids - FREE admission for everyone! There will also be food and activities from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm. Hot dog combo (includes chips & drink) - $7. Loaded nachos combo (includes drink) - $7. Fresh baked treats - $1 each. -- STEM projects and crafts -- Bake Sale -- Open to the community - come for the scares, stay for the fun!

1:30 pm - 3:30 pm | Kitty O'Reillys (59 E Oak St) will be having their Spooktacular Halloween Kids Costume Dance Party. DJ will start at 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm, Cookie decorating, Rock Painting, Hot Chocolate with Halloween garnishes! Also games and trivia throughout the Day. They will also would like to do Best Dressed Family Group for our main costume Contest. Gift Card $50

4:30 pm - 8:00 pm | Bay Shore Outfitters (59 N Madison Ave) - Ryan Cihlar will be on the patio starting at 1pm playing the accordion and singing songs and special drink specials will be going on outside with drinks for the little ones too.
