🎬 About the Event – Join us for an inspiring afternoon featuring a screening of the acclaimed documentary DETERMINED —a powerful, intimate look at three women, Barb, Karen, and Sigrid, who each have a family history of Alzheimer’s disease and choose to fight back.
The film follows their participation in WRAP (the Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer’s Prevention), the world’s largest family‑history‑based Alzheimer’s research study, at UW–Madison. Their courage, vulnerability, and determination offer one of the most personal portrayals of Alzheimer’s impact on families to date.
Selected to be shown in film festivals across the U.S. in the early 2020’s, it is an audience favorite. A shorter version aired nationwide on the acclaimed science program NOVA in 2022.
