Join us to learn how the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program has shaped Door County’s landscape through waterfront parks, scenic trails, and the protection of unique and sensitive habitats. Six speakers will share how this program has supported local organizations and preserved the spaces that define our community. Featuring speakers from Door County Land Trust, Crossroads at Big Creek, Door County Parks, The Nature Conservancy, The Ridges Sanctuary and other local conservation partners.

Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, conservation supporters, community members, and anyone who values Door County’s natural spaces. Free and open to the public.

Environmental Exploration – Exploring the North Wetlands: Crossroads at Big Creek

In spring, the area near the North Bridge often is flooded. Explore the area to see how a wetland fills with spring snowmelt. (Dress for the weather.) Geared for elementary students, learners of all ages are welcome to attend.

Meet in the lab at the Collins Learning Center. Registration not required. Open to the public and free thanks to the generosity of donors like you.
