Independence Day Concert with Free Pie and Ice Cream Social. Celebrate the 4th of July with our famous pre-concert pie and ice cream social at 2:00 PM followed by a 3:00 PM concert. Featuring Brian Groner, guest conductor.

Carefree Corie and pragmatic Paul are newlyweds who are hilariously navigating life in their first quirky apartment.   While Paul worries over the lack of heat and a hole in the skylight, Corie longs to run barefoot in the park.  Toss in an anxious mother-in-law and an eccentric neighbor, and laughs abound!  Simon’s trademark wit and humor shine in this warm-hearted comedy where we see what people will do when taken out of their comfort zones.

Beethoven authorized his publisher to arrange his 7th Symphony for String Quintet. In an age when the symphony orchestra was relatively rare, a chamber arrangement improved the opportunity for sales. This intimate and profound glimpse into the heart of the work is revelatory. Dvořák’s Notturno and Bruch’s recently published Quintet provide provocative precursors for this concert of masterpieces.
