Saturday Science: Fossils of Door County: Crossroads at Big Creek

Beginning at 2:00, participants will learn how the fossils of Door County were formed and the basics of fossil ID. Edible demonstrations so let us know if children have dietary restrictions. Each family will receive a free fossil pamphlet. If weather permits, we will venture outdoors to look for fossils. Geared for elementary students, learners of all ages are welcome.

Junior Nature Club: Crossroads at Big Creek

Junior Nature Club is a free, six-week series aimed at connecting pre-school aged children (ages three and up) and their families to the natural world. Through the use of storytelling, games, activities, and unstructured  play in nature, the Junior Nature Club promotes physical well-being, social engagement and curiosity about nature in both children and their parents or guardians. Parents or guardians are expected to remain with the group throughout each class. Siblings and family members are welcome to participate.  Come dressed for outdoor exploration. If the weather is too bad to be outdoors, we will do nature-related activities inside.

Easter Interactive Adventure: Family Worship Center

Easter Interactive Adventure" is a family friendly event. It includes a song from the kids worship team, and five different a dramatic skits that bring you back in time to meet characters who actually knew Jesus. It also includes a chance to win some great prizes, (grand prize is a family stay at the Tundra Lodge Resort). Lastly, free refreshments will be served after the show. The entire show is around an hour long. We look forward to seeing you this Easter season.
